Choosing a therapist is a big step, and for many of us, the environment is just as important as the conversation. Whether you are a seasoned pro at therapy or this is your very first time, it’s important that you feel safe and comfortable- not just during our session, but from the moment you walk through the door.
When you walk into our office, here’s what you can expect:

Sensory Autonomy: I’ve curated a variety of regulation tools and sensory output options—from fidgets and weighted items to different lighting choices. You are always in charge of how you use the space.

Zero-Masking Zone: This is a place where you can move, stim, sit on the floor, or look away while we talk. The office is designed to support your natural way of being.

A "No-Surprises" Tour: I have shared photos of every corner of the office so you can "pre-visit" the space mentally. I know that knowing what the door, the seating, and the lighting look like can take the edge off that first-day anxiety.

Finding the Office: A Step-by-Step Guide
I know that navigating a new building can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming, so I’ve put together these detailed directions to help you feel at ease before you even arrive.

1. Locating the Building
The complex is located directly behind the Ancaster shopping center (featuring Walmart and surrounding shops). Parking is available, free of charge, in the large parking lot that accompanies the complex.
2. Entering the Building
Within the complex, the office is located in the building that is parallel to Garner Road West and closest to the road.
The entrance doors are located around the center of the building, to the right of the Cumulus Cafe.
3. Finding the Suite

The Stairs/Elevator: Once you enter the lobby,
head up to the second floor.

The Hallway: At the top of the stairs (or exit of
the elevator), turn left and follow the hallway.

The Suite: Look for Unit #203. There is a black
sign on the door that says "Nova Phoenix Co."

Inside Suite 203: Get comfortable in the waiting
area. My office is just down the hall, & I will
come & get you when we are ready to begin.
